A Bit About Me

I was born and raised in Texas, enjoying great foods like Red & Green Enchiladas, Breakfast Migas, Smoked BBQ, and Pecan Pie. But I wanted to experience new cuisines from others further away. A graduate of Scottsdale Culinary Institute in 1996, I started my career working for a global leader in frozen airline entrees based in Montreal. After a few years there, I settled in San Francisco, creating private-label meals for several major grocery store brands, including Wegmans, Safeway, and Loblaws.  

Before starting Culinary Design Studio in 2009, I also had the pleasure of serving as Director of Research & Development for one of the largest food producers, Bellsio Foods. When I'm not in my kitchen or a facility, I spend time with my family and two golden retrievers. I also love to travel the globe. From Singapore to Rome and Tokyo to Vietnam, I always search for new flavors.
